The continuing mission of the Northwest Florida-Tallahassee Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is to promote the interests and welfare of the Pennsylvania State University, its Alumni, and the citizens of Tallahassee. All Tallahassee Area Penn State Alumni, Prospective Students, and Fans are invited to attend all Chapter events!
Blue-White Bowling Night at Capital Lanes on July 15, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
All Chapter members are invited to Blue-White Bowling night at Capital Lanes located at 820 Capital Circle Northeast, Tallahassee, Florida. The Chapter will be giving away a prize for the Chapter team with the highest score, a prize to the Chapter team with the lowest score and a door prize for Chapter members as well. Additionally, we will be competing against our friends from the University of Michigan Alumni Association. I am certain that the Chapter will have an outstanding turnout for this fun event and we will show Michigan that the NITTANY LIONS are the KINGPINS of the Big Ten! GO LIONS!!! BEAT MICHIGAN!!!
Chapter Paddling Trip on August 16, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at TNT Hideaway Tours.
Since the first paddling trip was so much fun the Chapter is doing it again! Congratulations to the Chapter for being awarded a 2008 Penn State Alumni Association Joint Activity Volunteer Award for partnering with the Centre County, PA Chapter to make cards for THON dancers!!!
