The continuing mission of the Northwest Florida-Tallahassee Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is to promote the interests and welfare of the Pennsylvania State University, its Alumni, and the citizens of Tallahassee. All Tallahassee Area Penn State Alumni, Prospective Students, and Fans are invited to attend all Chapter events!

All Penn State Alumni and Fans are invited to Hobbit American Grill (located at 400 Capital Circle, S.E., Tallahassee, Florida) to watch our beloved Penn State Nittany Lions Football Team play Michigan State on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. We hope that many Chapter members will turn out to support our Nittany Lions!!! Thank you for the great attendance!!! Lets keep it up all season long!!! Please remember to bring canned food items with you to support the Chapter's Fall 2008 Salvation Army Food Drive.

Congratulations to Penn State Head Football Coach Joe Paterno for becoming the head football coach with the most victories in major college football. You are the Greatest Football Coach to ever walk a sideline! We hope that you have many, many more years of success at Penn State!!! Lets Go JoePa!!!

The Nittany Lions have to play 3 more games to complete its regular season football schedule. Therefore, no one knows what bowl game our beloved Nittany Lions will be selected to play in until after the regular season concludes. At this time, the Alumni Association does not know how many (if any) bowl game tickets it will receive and how the tickets will be distributed. Demand for bowl game tickets could be at an all time high depending on which bowl game Penn State is playing in. You may contact the Penn State Alumni Association's Official Bowl Tour at 1-866-373-7370 and ask to be placed on its contact list when bowl information becomes available on December 7 or 8, 2008. The Chapter will be informed about the various means to purchase bowl game tickets. Go Lions!!!
